We are grateful to the sponsors that share the vision and efforts of CienciaPR to develop a healthy and sustainable environment for the sciences and Puerto Rico:
In 2011, CienciaPR received an award from the Puerto Rico Science, Technology & Research Trust for the development of online resources to support scientific researchers in Puerto Rico.
In 2011, the Banco Popular Foundation approved a proposal from CienciaPR for the development and pilot testing of a novel intervention to increase pre-college student interest in science. Essays from ¡Ciencia Boricua! were used to stimulate interest and discussion on science and will serve as the basis for podcasts produced by K-12 students. You can see the results of this project here.
The work of CienciaPR would not be possible without the contribution and support of numerous individuals and institutions. We are proud of our partnerships with the organizations listed below.
