C3TEC (Centro Criollo de Ciencias y Tecnología del Caribe), a science museum in downtoown Caguas, inaugurated an interactive science exhibit with 33 stations.

The Centro Criollo de Ciencia y Tecnología del Caribe (C3TeC, Caribbean Criollo Center for Science and Technology), located in Caguas, will open its doors tomorrow Tuesday August 12 to its permanent exhibit "Our bodies, our island, our planet." The C3tec (Caribbean Center for Science of Technology) in Caguas has opened a new interactive exhibit called George the Curious. For more info: (787) 792-5000 or (787) 288-0566. The exhibit will be opened Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 5:00pm and the cost is $7.00 for kids and $9.00 for adults.

CAGUAS -  The Caribbean Science and Technology Center (C3tec) celebrated its first workshop for science teachers organized by EducaPR. Other organizations such as Urban Farmers Punto Com and Ciencia Puerto Rico o CienciaPR participated of the event that took place on Friday, February 22, 2013.

C3TEC, the first science and technology center in the Caribbean, will have 33 interactive exhibitions in subjects ranging from meteorology to geology to energy. The center will also house two technology companies with laboratories, which the public will be able to observe through glass windows. On the third floor the structure will house a "green" roof with gardens and a rain water collection system.
