Nicole Blanco-Vicéns, student in the Departament of Industrial Engineering and member of the Applied Optimization Group of Dr. Mauricio Cabrera-Ríos, won first prize in the nanosciences category in a poster competition that took place during the 2013 NSF Emerging Researchers National Conference in STEM, held in Washington DC from February 28 to March 3rd. 

The CienciaPR team and her group and department are very proud of her success and congratulate this young scientist on her achievements.
