Location:

Puerto Rico

The Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP) is the world’s most prestigious youth award for a waterrelated science project.  The prize taps into the unlimited potential of today’s high school students as they seek to address current and future water challenges.

In order to promote the study and interest for the conservation of our water resources, the Puerto Rico Water & Environment Association & the PR Aqueduct and Sewer Authority invites all students from the 9 to 12 grade of public and
private schools to participate in the Science Fair “Discovering H2O”.

This competition brings together bright young students to encourage their continued interest in water.  The competition is open to students between the ages of 15-20, in 9-12th grades, who have conducted a water related project. The winner of the Puerto Rico SJWP will be awarded a trip to the U.S. national competition to compete for the grand prize of $10,000 and an all-expense paid trip to Stockholm, Sweden.
