MIT 1993-1997 (Boston, MA) - BS Chemistry focusing on Physical Chemistry, BS History; Conducted research in the development of novel systems for the chemical and spatial characterization of cancer and atherosclerotic lesions using catheter, confocal microscopy, and gross tissue specimen based Raman spectroscopy in MIT's George R. Harrison Spectroscopy Laboratory. Also developed a technique to characterize the ultrasound mediated destruction of a common contrast-agent used in echocardiography at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN) - multiple abstracts, national and international conference oral presentations, and co-author in publication in journal of SPIE (May, 1995).
