There are a number of websites that provide advice on how to develop strong and competitive funding proposals. Some of these include:
- NIAID (the NIH institute that funds immunology, microbiology, and infectious disease) has a great series of tips, articles, and guides to NIH and the development and management of fundig proposals. We highly recommend subscribing to their newsletter.
- The NIH Office of Extramural Research also regularly publishes interesting tips, analyses, and news about the NIH funding world. In particular, take a look at the blog from the NIH OER Director, Sally Rockey, who always has interesting news and tidbits.
- CienciaPR member Gil Schmidt has published a nice guide for how to seek and be awarded Federal Funds (in Spanish). You may download this resource from our website for a limited time, thanks to Mr. Schmidt's generosity.
