Few young figures manage to balance a career in television with scientific rigor as successfully as Ackerly Cedeño. Recognized for her passion for sciences, the presenter is making steady progress towards aerospace medicine and orthopedic surgery. Her recent admissions to prestigious programs at Yale University and Columbia University make her a model of academic excellence.

The co-host of “Pégate” on Wapa Televisión shared details about her acceptance into Columbia University's Orthopedic Surgery Outset program.

Through social media, Cedeño explained that she had not seen a program specifically focused on that specialty and assured that the experience would significantly help her in her professional future.

“I am very excited to learn so many skills and have this educational experience at an institution like Columbia University, and all these opportunities, especially in orthopedics and medicine, will help me immensely for my future and my educational resume, which is one of the most important things for me,” she said in a video posted on wapa.tv.

The camp, aimed at high school students interested in orthopedic surgery, will last approximately one week, Wapa Televisión added.
