ELIGIBILITY U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible between three and seven years after defending their dissertation. The award is focused on scientists who are not yet employed in a tenure-track position, who self-identify as belonging to a group historically underrepresented in neuroscience, and who have championed advocacy and outreach efforts. |
BENEFITS Recipients are awarded a $10,000 cash prize. Awardees gain access to mentorship opportunities and professional support from the Grass Foundation’s vibrant network of previous Henry Grass Rising Stars Awardees and former Grass Fellows. |
