GEM Ph.D. Science Fellowship Program

The GEM Ph.D. Science Fellowship is open to minority juniors, seniors and graduates (Masters) who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in a life science, physical science or mathematics. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be considered for this award.

We are writing to inform you of a new NIH-supported Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program (PREP) at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, NY). The program is designed to provide a year‑long intensive laboratory based research experience to underrepresented minority college graduates who are interested in pursuing training in a research intensive PhD or MD-PhD program but lack sufficient research experience to be competitive in top programs.
