Join iBiology for a Q&A on publishing pre-prints

Date:

Wednesday, 6 January 2021

iBiology recently released an editorial video called “Publishing in a Pandemic: The Preprint Revolution.” In this video, Jessica Polka, executive director of ASAPbio, emphasizes the crucial role of preprints in the fast dissemination of knowledge and how it has transformed the peer review process. We would like to use this video to seed a discussion about the benefits and limitations of preprints from the perspective of early-career scientists. Panelists Jessica Polka, Elizabeth Silva (Associate Dean of Graduate Programs at UCSF and former editor at PLoS), and Kate Carbone (Industry Postdoc), will be there to answer questions.

We look forward to your presence. Please feel free to share this with anyone who might be interested.
