The Forum is the University of Puerto Rico-Medical Sciences Campus' premier academic event. This highly valued endeavour allows students, faculty, and researchers from six schools of the campus, and other academic and research institutions of Puerto Rico and abroad, an opportunity to assemble in the interest of exchanging, deliberating about, and constructing new knowledge through research and scholarship that informs the theory and evidence-based practice of health sciences and education.

The 34th Annual Research and Education Forum is scheduled to take place from Wednesday 9th to Friday 11th April 2014, at the Medical Sciences Campus of the University of Puerto Rico. The theme of this year is Information in Health and Education: New Directions in Translational Research, and will be dedicated in the loving memory of Dr. Conrado F. Asenjo in the occasion of 100th anniversary of the Medical Sciences Campus Library.
