Monday, September 30, 2013 (9 am – 5 pm) to Tuesday, October 1, 2013 (9 am – 12 pm)

OBJECTIVE: This workshop will allow researchers to gain knowledge about tissue microarray (TMA) applications and statistical analysis of TMA data. By the end of the workshop, participants will acquire knowledge on how to analyze TMA data and determine the association between potential protein biomarkers and clinical/demographic data.

SESSION TOPICS:

Statistical Tests Estimation and Hypothesis Testing Application & Consultation

Basic statistical tests, along with a few advanced tests, will be illustrated with Microsoft Excel software. Participants are encouraged to bring their own computer. Participants who complete the workshop and pass a short quiz will receive a certificate of completion.
