College students investigate the human impact on water sedimentation

In an effort to understand the origin of the sediments that reach the waters of the Guanica Bay which are affecting its marine ecosystem; eleven undergraduate, masters and doctorate students will be collecting samples from different zones in the southeast area of the Puerto Rico. This initiative is part of the project: Human Impact to Coastal Ecosystems in Puerto Rico (HICE-PR), sponsored by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
