In the face of an increase in the number of cleft lip and cleft palate in Puerto Rico, the School of Dental Medicine in the Medical Sciences Campus of the University of Puerto Rico inaugurated the Center of Dental and Craneofacial Genomics, to promote the research of congenital defects and to create community partnerships.
