The Institute of Neurobiology at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Candidates should apply genetic techniques to fundamental problems in developmental or systems neuroscience. The candidate should hold a doctoral degree, a minimum of two years postdoctoral training, research productivity commensurate with experience and a commitment to developing an independent research program. Although this is a research position, opportunities to obtain an academic appointment in a relevant department of the School of Medicine are available. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to establish a core facility in his or her area of expertise.
