Register Today for the Dec 12th Annual Meeting of the CLCC: Developing the CLCC Strategic Conservation Framework

The Steering Committee and Staff of the Caribbean Landscape Conservation Cooperative are inviting you to join us on December 12 from 9:00am – 4:30pm in Carolina, Puerto Rico (Hotel Verdanza) to attend our annual meeting of the CLCC Steering Committee and Partners (open to the public). Remote access will be available for those that have travel restrictions and wish to participate. Please RSVP by registering here (for both in person and remote attendance). To see public agenda for the event click here.

The CLCC is a partnership to develop and provide sound science and strategies to agencies, decision makers, organizations, researchers, and the public to conserve, restore and sustain natural and cultural resources in the Caribbean. The purpose of this meeting is to further identify priorities and rank them as part of the Strategic Conservation Framework so that we can establish the course for bridging science and action, land and sea. While the meeting is designed to be discussion-based for the identification and ranking of shared conservation priorities for the region we will also have invited talks by Dr. Edgardo González and Lcd. Laura Beatriz Arroyo, Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DNER), Dr. Elvira Cuevas, Center for Applied Tropical Ecology (CATEC) and Stanton Enomoto with the Pacific Islands Climate Change Cooperative (PICCC).

More information to come on an evening reception/poster session at Banco Popular in Old San Juan on Wednesday, December 11th as well as a field trip on Friday, December 13th.

Sincerely,

Kasey Jacobs, on behalf of the CLCC Staff & Steering Committee
