Awarded to graduate students who are pursuing doctoral study in the field of cancer nursing research and preparing for careers as nurse scientists. Initial awards are made for up to 2 years with the possibility of a 2-year renewal. There is a stipend of $15,000 per year. Grant applications must be submitted electronically via proposalCENTRAL. 

Annual Application Deadline: October 15

Grant application materials become available in early July.

Doctoral Degree Scholarships in Cancer Nursing -- Renewal

Recipients of the initial 2-year Doctoral Degree Scholarships in Cancer Nursing who have demonstrated satisfactory progress in their doctoral programs in cancer nursing research are eligible to apply for a renewal. The grant provides up to 2 additional years of funding with an annual stipend of $15,000.
