Goal: support the development of new approaches, methodologies and knowledge in infectious disease prevention and control in areas within the public health mission of the CDC.

2015-2017 ASM/CDC Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program:
- Up to ten fellowship positions will be awarded for full-time research in infectious diseases, which cause significant public health problems.
- Fellows will perform research in residence at one of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) locations in Atlanta, GA; Ft. Collins, CO; Anchorage, AK; or San Juan, Puerto Rico.
- Offers an annual stipend, health benefits, and professional development opportunities.
