Dear NRMN community,

The NIH Diversity Program Consortium is leading an exciting national social media campaign on May 26, called #FaceOfScience, and you are invited to participate! Join individuals from other NIH training programs across the country, including undergraduate programs like BUILD, RISE, and MARC, and pre-doctoral programs like PREP and PRAT, for this one-day online celebration of scientists!

Participating in the campaign is easy. Simply:

  1. Write “#FaceOfScience” on a piece of paper
  2. Take a photo of yourself holding it
  3. Post on any of your social media accounts using the hashtag #FaceOfScience & tag @enhancescience.

You can also add to your photo by describing your experience as a researcher using one of these prompts:

  • What do you love most about being a scientist?
  • How is your research personal to you?
  • How do you enhance science?

You can even do this in groups by taking a screenshot at your Zoom meeting!

*Enhance Science can also post photos for folks—email a photo, your name and blurb to info@enhancescience.org. This is open to anyone in the scientific community, so feel free to share this with others.
