Cursos cortos en bioestadísticas, epidemiología, genética y estudios clínicos

El Departamento de Bioestadísticas en la Universidad de Washington, Seattle, WA se complace en anunciar sus Institutos de Verano 2014. Este año estaremos ofreciendo tres institutos: el Instituto de Verano en Estadísticas para Investigación Clínica [Summer Institute in Statistics for Clinical Research (SISCR)], 23-27 de junio, 2014; el 19no Instituto de Verano en Estadística Genética [19th Summer Institute in Statistical Genetics (SISG)], 7-25 de julio, 2014; y el 6to Instituto de Verano en Estadísticas y Modelaje de Enfermedades Infecciosas [6th Summer Institute in Statistics and Modeling of Infectious Diseases (SISMID)], 7-23 de julio, 2014.
Los Institutos de Verano consisten de una serie de talleres cortos ofrecidos por reconocidos expertos en la materia y están diseñados para introducir a los participantes a las asuntos y retos modernos en bioestadísticas, genética, enfermedades infecciosas, epidemiología y estudios clínicos, entre otros temas. Los prerequisitos para participar son mínimos y los talleres están organizados de manera modular para que los participantes puedan crear una agenda que se ajuste a sus necesidades e intereses. Aquellos que completen los talleres en los Institutos de Verano recibirán un certificado de participación.

The University of Washington Department of Biostatistics is happy to announce the 2014 Summer Institutes in Seattle, Washington. We will be hosting the Summer Institute in Statistics for Clinical Research (SISCR), June 23-27, 2014; the 19th Summer Institute in Statistical Genetics (SISG), July 7-25, 2014; and the 6th Summer Institute in Statistics and Modeling of Infectious Diseases (SISMID), July 7-23, 2014.
The Summer Institutes consist of a series of short workshops conducted by experts in the subject fields and designed to introduce participants to modern issues and challenges in biostatistics, genetics, infectious diseases, epidemiology and clinical trials. Prerequisites are minimal, and the modular nature of the Institutes enables participants to design a program best suited to their backgrounds and interests. Individuals attending the Institute will receive certificates of course completion in recognition of their participation.
