The DiscoverE Educator Awards shines a spotlight on educators around the world who are
inspiring tomorrow’s generation of engineers in 6th to 12th grade classrooms. Three winners
will receive a trip to Washington, D.C., a $2,000 cash prize, and a 3M gift pack of classroom
supplies. Eight runners-up will receive $500 each and gift packs. It provides
program requirements and all of the application questions and required information. Please
gather all necessary materials and complete your application online at

The DiscoverE Educator Awards are sponsored by Bechtel, ExxonMobil Corporation, 3M, Shell
Oil Corporation and the United Engineering Foundation (UEF).
Requirements
Full-time U.S. or International school-based educator
Teaches grades 6 – 12 (U.S. or U.S. equivalent)
Nominated by an engineer or engineering student (college or graduate level)
Completed applications must be submitted by March 16, 2015.
Application form includes short questions to be completed by the educator and the
engineer/student nominator.
A photo of the educator nominee (formal headshot and, if available, candid shot of
teacher in classroom) must be included.
