Dear Innovator: The Puerto Rico Science, Technology & Research Trust will host its First Annual Innovation Pavilion for all industry sectors during the Interphex Puerto Rico Exposition to be held on October 20-21, 2011 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center. The Innovation Pavilion has been designed to serve as a connector of people, resources and ideas that can significantly help our researchers, scientists, entrepreneurs, inventors, and universities, accelerate the development and commercialization of their new technologies and thereby contribute to the economic development of Puerto Rico. Four target groups are being invited to visit and/or exhibit at the Pavilion: University officials seeking resources to help expand their R&D and technology commercialization capabilities; Researchers/scientists, independent inventors, and technology entrepreneurs seeking assistance to develop, protect, and commercialize their innovative product or technology. Local technology firms with high-growth and economic impact potential for Puerto Rico, that are seeking resources (capital, technology, strategic alliances) to rapidly expand their existing operation.
