Job Description

USRA is an independent, nonprofit research corporation where the combined efforts of in-house talent and university-based expertise merge to advance space science and technology. USRA engages the creativity and authoritative expertise of the research community to develop and deliver sophisticated, forward-looking solutions to Federal agencies and other customers - on schedule and within budget.

USRA is seeking a STEM Workshop Coordinator for our Arecibo, PR location. Other duties as assigned. The Saturday Academy will meet every Saturday for 4-6 hours for 10 weeks, once each semester and in the summer, coordinated with the local school schedule. The incumbent will be expected to be present for the Saturday activities and actively present most of the material.  Translate available NASA workshop materials into Spanish and adapt to the local culture as necessary. This position is currently planned for 0.6 FTE, nominally three days per week.
