The Center for STEM+eXcellence at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time position as a STEM+X Program Manager. The anticipated start date is 04/18/2022.

Morehead State University is in Morehead, KY, a designated Kentucky Trail Town, nestled in the Daniel Boone National Forest, near Cave Run Lake. This location provides opportunities for a wide range of outdoor recreation activities. Additionally, Morehead State University is close to several larger cities including Lexington, KY, Louisville, KY, and Cincinnati, OH. RESPONSIBILITIES: The STEM+X Program Manager provides leadership and expertise in the planning and implementation of the Center’s STEM+X programs and their evaluation instruments. This position collaborates with other Morehead State University staff and faculty to develop quality programs that implement the integration of STEM and X elements to ensure each program is aligned to the Center’s mission and quality goals. The STEM+X Program Manager establishes and maintains the working structure of all elements of each program, design, and reports of the effectiveness of each program.

REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in STEM or STEM education field, 3-5 years of experience in a STEM field or STEM education, K-12 STEM program management and leadership experience, written and verbal communication skills, cost control and budgeting skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in grant writing and development, program quality experience, data analysis experience, experience using management technology
