Estudiantes, APAGS - the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students - is looking for students to get more involved. We are especially interested in students _currently_ in Puerto Rico. Are you... * Interested in learning more about the current issues that impact the science and practice of psychology? * Thinking about developing your leadership skills? * Wanting to make sure that your voice is heard? ...then Get Connected! The American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS) invites you to join its national network of Campus Representatives. Get connected to the network by becoming an APAGS Campus Representative. If your graduate program does not have a Campus Representative, then students on your campus are not receiving important information about student awards, funding opportunities, activities at the annual APA convention, relevant legislative activity, and other essential information pertinent to psychology graduate students. The American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS) represents student interests and concerns, with particular emphasis on issues of training and education, professional practice, legislative advocacy, diversity, psychological science, and professional development. As a Campus Representative you will periodically receive important information from APAGS and distribute it to students in your program. Serving as a Campus Representative will not only help you and your student colleagues get connected to the larger psychological and graduate student communities, but will also allow you to personally help create a strong and prosperous future for your chosen profession. To get connected as an APAGS Campus Representative, or for more information, email apags@apa.org Please indicate what state you live in and what program you attend.
