The Psychology Department at Northeastern University (www.northeastern.edu/cos/psychology/) invites applications for a tenured/tenure-track faculty position in:

Affective science to start in the fall of 2016. Rank is open (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor). We welcome applications from any area of affective science, broadly construed, but are especially interested in candidates who (1) will complement existing strengths in affective neuroscience; emotion-guided social decision-making and interpersonal behavior; and lifespan development; and/or (2) could contribute to a new campus-wide research initiative in healthy aging.

Cognitive neuroscience to start in the fall of 2016. Rank is open (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor). We welcome applications from any area of cognitive neuroscience, broadly construed, but are especially interested in candidates who (1) will fit with existing strengths in language representation and processing; perception, categorization, reasoning, and decision making; and conceptual development; and/or (2) could contribute to a new campus-wide research initiative in healthy aging. Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and conducting an independent, externally-funded research program.
