The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is seeking applications for funding to support innovative dissertation research in life sciences, physical sciences, engineering, computer and information sciences, and the mathematical sciences that is relevant to providing solutions to better prevent and control crime and help ensure the fair and impartial administration of criminal justice in the United States. This program furthers the Department's mission by sponsoring research to provide objective, independent, evidence-based knowledge.
