Job Opportunity
The Cofresi lab is seeking to hire a Research Coordinator with interests in alcohol and addiction research to help launch a series of EEG and fMRI studies. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible staff position. The Cofresi lab is a new lab at the University of Missouri – Columbia interested in understanding the role of learning and memory about rewards like foods, drinks, and drugs in human behavior. Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, screen, and schedule prospective young adult participants for lab visits
Conduct lab visits during which you will administer liquid rewards such as alcohol or sugar and collect EEG or fMRI and behavioral data
Maintain files and prepare reports
Ensure compliance with institutional review board (IRB) and sponsor/regulatory agencies
Coordinate schedules and daily tasks, and train undergraduate research assistants
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with human subjects research and managing IRB protocols
Experience with software like R, matlab, E-Prime, REDCap
1-2 years of experience as a research assistant in a lab
