On September 15,2017, Pratt School of Engineering is hosting its 4th annual Graduate Program and Fellowship Application Bootcamp. This informative workshop is open to students from gender, racial, and ethnic groups that are historically underrepresented in STEM fields (female students and students from African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, Native American or Native Alaskan racial/ethnic backgrounds) interested in learning more about engineering MS and PhD graduate programs, summer research opportunities, and general information on the graduate admission and fellowship application process. The bootcamp will include workshops from Duke administrators and engineering faculty, a student panel, and more! 

 

When: Arrive on Thursday, September 14, 2017; Bootcamp will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 – 9 am to 5 pm (includes lunch on campus)

Where: Duke University’s West Campus.  

Cost: Free! Including travel expenses, lodging, and meals.

Eligibility: 

  • College Sophomore, Junior, or Seniors in the 2017-18 academic year from historically underrepresented gender and/or racial/ethnic backgrounds in STEM (female students and students from African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, Native American or Native Alaskan racial/ethnic backgrounds)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Interest in pursuing graduate degree in Engineering
