Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in secretarial sciences or business administration, with at least three years of administrative experience, specifically in federal grant management. Must be completely bilingual – English/Spanish both spoken and written. Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point). Highly organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. People and teamwork oriented.
Job Description: Will be responsible for assisting the Administrative Core at PSM on the coordination of all activities that are part of the PSM-Moffitt Cancer Center Partnership, funded by the NIH through a U56 grant. Partnership activities include Community Outreach, Research, and Medical Education/Training components. Responsibilities include: coordination of teleconferences, meetings (Administrative Core, Internal Advisory Committee, Program Steering Committee), semi-annual retreats, and “Research in Progress” series. This person will serve as a liason between the Administrative Cores in Ponce and in Tampa and with all program participants. He/she will be in charge of documentation of all activities, preparation of agendas, minutes and annual progress reports, development and distribution of the newsletter, and provide assistance in maintenance of the website. Will ensure that grant activities are according to RFA guidelines and what was proposed and approved in grant application. Will provide administrative support as needed for activities of the Outreach, Tissue Procurement and Education Programs. Will coordinate that financial Interims are received timely and will interact with budget managers. Will coordinate all travel arrangements and will support all administrative functions of all the PSM cores when needed.
