Eagle Medical Services, LLC is a provider of direct healthcare and support services to government agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). CDC's Waterborne Disease Prevention Branch (WDPB) within NCEZID's Division of Foodborne, Waterborne, and Enteric Diseases (DFWED is the lead coordination and response unit for preventing domestic and global water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH)-related disease.

The Waterborne Disease Prevention Branch (WDPB) has a mission to protect and improve health in the United States and around the globe by promoting healthy water for drinking, recreation and other uses, and by advancing adequate sanitation and improved hygiene. The purpose of this work order is to provide additional scientific support and services for laboratory, bioinformatics, communications, behavioral science, and epidemiology. Some general objectives of this effort will include, but are not limited to: Ensure that CDC has ongoing well-timed, professional and scientific supportservices which leverage industry best practices and professional standards. Ensure related and inter-reliant functionsand disciplines are covered in the contract services and support the achievement of WDPB's mission and program goals.

Health Communications Support Services - CDC and WDPB program initiatives depend on communications strategies that involve understanding and engaging stakeholders using effective communication and education programs. WDPB requires contractor support for these activities:

Establish and maintain working relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial partners, health officials, scientists, consumer groups, and community representatives.

Develop and tailor communications materials for diverse audiences (e.g., public, consumer groups, industry, government officials, academia, and other technical audiences) in collaboration with CDC staff.

Facilitate CDC subject matter expert review and clearance of materials, and provide technical assistance on communication needs.

Assist in the identification of gaps in existing communication materials.

Provide scientifically accurate information and clear communication techniques for the development of internal and public-facing communication products.

Compile and analyze metrics and other program evaluation data, collecting data from a variety of sources, including web and social media, and presenting in a cohesive, organized format.

Assist in the design, re-design, and re-formatting of CDC web pages using best practices in web design and navigation.

Provide rapid tum-around editing, writing, and communications input on messages to be released to the public during outbreak investigations.

Design and produce communication and education materials for a variety of audiences to support preparedness and response to WASH-related emergencies and outbreaks.

Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to create communication plans and ensure strategies meet communication objectives.

Develop and execute dissemination plans for messages and materials to ensure distribution through appropriate channels to reach target audiences.

Spanish language fluency for assistance in the production of Spanish communications materials preferred.
