The Kavli Institute for Neuroscience is now accepting applications for the Kavli Postdoctoral Award for Academic Diversity.

The Kavli Postdoctoral Award for Academic Diversity seeks to support exceptional scholars who bring a diversity of perspectives, identities, and backgrounds to academic research, including those from groups that are historically underrepresented in the sciences. This Award will support up to two years of mentored research in the neurosciences at Yale University, including salary, benefits, and a research allowance. Awardees will join a nurturing community that promotes scientific excellence through mentorship, training, and professional development. The award will provide $63,000 for salary support, and standard postdoctoral employee benefits for up to two years. An additional $20,000 allowance can support relevant research and travel expenses, including up to $3,000 toward relocation.

This award is open to applicants at any postdoctoral stage (e.g., new postdocs, senior postdocs/ARS – there is no time limit post-doctoral degree completion) and from any institution (applicants already at Yale are eligible).

Please submit all application materials, including letters of reference, at this link: apply.interfolio.com/86909by November 20th, 2022. The research is anticipated to begin any time in 2023.
