A postdoctoral research position isavailable immediately in the laboratory of Dr. José Lasalde Dominicci at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.
Applicants must have a PhD in Biology or Chemistry, and experience in macromolecular crystallography (including protein biochemistry, protein crystallization in lipidic cubic phase, and protein crystallography). The successful candidate must be highly motivated, capable of working independently, and enjoy working in a collaborative setting. Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills are highly desirable. The candidate must be willing to travel at least three times per year to the Argonne National Laboratory. The position will be for 1 year with the possibility of up to 4 years based on mutual satisfaction.
