We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position investigating the molecular pathogenesis of T-cell transformation and induction of leukemia/lymphoma by the Human T-cell Leukemia Virus (HTLV). This position will be available for the fall/winter of 2016 in the NIH-funded Green Laboratory of the Center for Retrovirus Research. Current studies focus on the viral and cellular regulators of HTLV gene expression/replication, cellular transformation, and viral survival or persistence in the infected host. We employ a multidisciplinary approach combining cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and animal models to address our research goals.
