A Research Associate position is immediately available in cardiovascular research with a focus on the regulation of angiotensin II receptors and intracellular pathways. The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Biochemistry / Molecular Biology/ Pharmacology /Cell Biology, or a related field and highly motivated. In addition, strong motivation for doing high quality research is highly desired. The candidate is expected to conduct research using molecular biology and protein analysis techniques such as RT-PCR, antisense oligonucleotide treatment, and western blotting. Experience in enzyme analysis, second messenger system analysis, receptor binding assays and immunohistochemistry techniques is an advantage. Maintaining a cell culture laboratory, conducting small animal experiments and training undergraduate students are responsibilities associated with this position.
