RFP: Supporting Community-Based Organizations to Increase Vaccination Coverage Across Different Racial and Ethnic Adult Populations Currently Experiencing Disparities

The CDC Foundation is excited to announce a new funding opportunity that will award over $6.7 million to community-based organizations (CBOs) to support efforts to increase influenza and COVID-19 vaccine confidence and uptake for adults in racial and/or ethnic populations experiencing disparities in the United States. The CDC Foundation will provide $50,000 - $100,000 awards to an estimated 100 CBOs to: (1) Equip influential messengers by providing trainings and materials; (2) Increase vaccination opportunities and enhance provider partnerships; and (3) Establish partnerships with state and local health departments.

The CDC Foundation has posted the CBO Vaccine Coverage PowerPoint from yesterday’s informational call on our website. I want to apologize again for the difficulty that many of you experienced in trying to connect to the call. In addition to the presentation, we have also uploaded a Question & Answer document that contains a total of 63 questions – the first 40 questions are also included in the ppt and the remaining 23 questions were additional inquiries received during and after yesterday’s call. The CDC Foundation is no longer accepting any further questions.

The proposal submission deadline has been extended by one week to Monday, May 3, 2021 at 12:00pm noon EDT.
