The Day One Project is an initiative of the Federation of American Scientists, a nonprofit and nonpartisan public policy organization based in Washington, DC. The Day One Project is dedicated to democratizing the policymaking process by working with new and expert voices across the science and technology community, and helping to develop actionable policies that can improve lives all across America. It's called Day One because it's aimed at capitalizing on this critical political moment to advance a robust set of policy recommendations that can be implemented on "day one" of the next Administration. The Day One Project offers a platform for ideas that represent a broad range of perspectives across science and technology disciplines.
