Now in its seventh year, the Lasker Foundation invites submissions to its global student essay contest – open to all aspiring bioscience and health communicators (med students, biomedical and public health students – graduate students and post-doc).
The winner will receive $10,000 and an all-expense-paid trip to New York City to attend the 2020 Lasker Awards on September 25.
This year’s topic: Describe how a notable scientist (such as a Lasker Laureate) has inspired you – through their personality or life experiences and/or through their scientific contributions.
The short, 800-word essays are due March 31. For detailed submission guidelines and stories on past winners please read HERE.
