West Chester University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Biology invites applicants for the position of Cell and Molecular Biologist. Tenure track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR position available August 2014.  Earned doctorate in Cell and Molecular Biology or related discipline required; research focused on some aspect of molecular biology, preference for candidates with expertise in cancer biology. The successful applicant must be qualified to teach Cell Physiology, Molecular Genetics, Human Genetics, and General Biology labs, and to develop upper level undergraduate or graduate courses in their area of expertise.  The successful candidate is expected to establish an active, externally funded research program involving graduate and/or undergraduate students. Applicants must successfully complete the interview process including a teaching demonstration and research seminar to be considered as a finalist.
