The University of Puerto Rico School of Pharmacy is one of six health professional schools at the Medical Sciences Campus located in metropolitan San Juan, Puerto Rico. The academic programs offered at the School include the Doctor of Pharmacy, a Graduate Program (Masters of Science in Pharmacy: Pharmaceutical Sciences and Industrial Pharmacy) a Pharmacy Practice Residency in Hospital Pharmacy, and a Community Pharmacy Residency.

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences has openings for two full time tenure-track ASSISTANT PROFESSORS, one in the area of Pharmaceutics and one in the area of Pharmacology/Toxicology.  A Ph.D. degree, supplemented with postdoctoral research experience is required. Shared teaching responsibilities in both the Doctor of Pharmacy as well as the Graduate Program will be required. Candidates are expected to establish an independent externally funded research program that can integrate with current research interests in the Department.
