The Department of Genetics is looking to appoint a tenure track faculty position for an outstanding investigator who will actively contribute to our core values of diversity, innovation and excellence. This search is specifically targeted to research in the area of cutting edge genomic technologies. The successful applicant will join a vibrant community of exceptional scientists who recognize the fundamental importance of diversity as a key driver of innovation and discovery in science. Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree.

Applications should contain a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a description of previous research (1 page), a concise statement of research plans (up to 2 pages), reprints of 2 publications, and 3 confidential letters of recommendation. Applicants will also be required to answer a series of questions regarding plans to foster a culture diversity and inclusion in the Department. This is an important component of the application and applicants should not substitute this section with their own diversity statement.

Interviews will take place as part of a multidisciplinary symposium including candidates for different searches. We are planning for an in-person symposium so please reserve the dates of Jan 17-18, 2022, Jan 25-26, 2022, and Feb 1-2, 2022 (snow date) as potential dates for the symposium in case you are selected for an interview.
