Use of primates for research defended

Edmundo Kraiselburg, Director for the Primate Center of the University of Puerto Rico, defended the use of these animals in biomedical research. He pointed out that the use of these primates has been and will be key in the search for the cure for certain diseases, the advancement of medicine and a knowledge-based economy.
