Recycling for Hospital del Niño

The activity "Recycling for the Hospital del Niño" will be this Saturday and Sunday May 22nd, 2011 in San Patricio Plaza, from 10 am to 7 pm. The public can bring all kinds of paper and carton to be recycled. The money that is raised during the day will be donated to Hospital del Niño.

Because of the high contamination levels found in some water wells, the Environmental Protection Agency added Cabo Rojo's public water system and the Hormigas water system in Caguas to a federal initiative that invests in the cleanup of toxic chemicals that can be harmful to the public.
