Science and Science Education Critical for Haiti’s Future, Says International Team Convened by AAAS

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), has just released a report offering strategic goals to increase science capacity in Haiti. Dr. Jorge Colón, Puerto Rican scientist and President of the Caribbean Division of the AAAS will be traveling to Haiti next week along with the other authors of the report to meet with representatives of Haiti’s scientific community, universities and high schools and private sector.
