Higher risk of chikungunya contagion in municipalities like San Juan

De acuerdo al estudio, en Aibonito la temperatura apenas superó los 77 grados Fahrenheit por lo que el riesgo de contraer chikungunya es mínimo. (GFR Media)

A research conducted at the University of Puerto Rico at Cayey found that the mosquitos spreading the Chikungunya virus do not survive in colder temperatures, therefore places like San Juan and Guayama are at higher risk for spreading the virus.
