El Centro Climático del Caribe del USDA otorgará hasta US$25,000 a una organización o individuo para desarrollar una serie de talleres de capacitación que incluyan demostraciones en fincas sobre prácticas de adaptación y mitigación del cambio climático para agricultores, propietarios forestales, administradores de tierras, agrónomos, y asesores agrícolas durante un período de un año.

As part of the 10th-anniversary celebration of Ciencia Puerto Rico, we have been collecting anecdotes from our volunteers to celebrate them and the work they do. We also want to share with you the team's vision for CienciaPR.

Today we will share the story of Marla S. Rivera-Oliver from Arecibo.  She has been a volunteer with CienciaPR for a year and a half.

- How did you hear about CienciaPR?  

I've always been aware of science in Puerto Rico. During an internet search, I discovered CienciaPR back when it was just starting.  I created my account then and I have been aware of all the news that have been published since.

Campamento de Ingeniería Industrial en el RUM para estudiantes de 9no a 11mo grado!!!!

Con el propósito de promover la Ingeniería Industrial (@ UPRM) de forma innovadora e interactiva, en el campamento de verano RealTimePC (11-15/julio/2016) utilizamos la automatización y la robótica como medio para que jóvenes de escuela superior exploren este campo.
