ACS on Campus: A journey from art to science

Between "Art, Science and Education." That was the theme for the outreach activity ACS on Campus, organized this past Friday, January 31, 2014, by the American Chemical Society (ACS) in collaboration with Dr. Ingrid Montes, Professor in the Department of Chemistry of the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras and member of the Board of Directors of this organization.

More than 100 students from private and public schools throughout Puerto Rico participated in the first Chemistry Student Congress at the University of Puerto Rico - Río Piedras campus.  The activity was organized by the campus' American Chemical Society (ACS) chapter and the ACS Chem clubs at the high school level.  The activity included workshops, discussions and a plenary session with Dr. Luis Echegoyen from the University of Texas.
