The International Dasonomy Institute will begin a research project which will artificially increase the temperature in four differente areas of El Yunque to study the effects of global warming.

Washington - Puerto Rican investigator Miguel Morales, recently awarded by President Barack Obama with the Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers, thinks there will be a revolution in chemistry, medicine and energy and says that in 10 years drugs will be created using only computers.

The White House released the names of 102 young investigators awarded with the Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers. Two Puerto Rican investigators Javier Arce Nazario and Miguel Morales, are among the awardees.
