The Organizing Committee of the Medical Sciences Campus 34thAnnual Research and Education Forum invites submission of abstracts for either oral or poster presentations. Submissions can be made in the following categories: Basic Science, Applied Science, Clinical/Translational Science, Epidemiology, Systematic Review/Meta-Analysis, and Educational Projects.

The abstract submission deadline is Friday, December 6, 2013.

The Puerto Rico Department of Health will do an epidemiologic study on the transmission of the Nile virus and prevention measures after the possible confirmation of the first case of the disease in Puerto Rico.
