The University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo (UPR-Arecibo), will offer four summer workshops focused in STEM fields for middle and high school students.

Courses will start on May 30 and will finalize on July 1.

Astronomers detect a quasar of more than 10 trillion grades d

With the help of the Arecibo Observatory, international astronomers recently discovered that the temperature in the center of a quasar, an astronomic source of electromagnetic energy, could be more than 10 trillion grades, negating the established theory of 100 billion grades.
